SUBC is a club built on the core values of dedication, commitment, passion, and unity. The club has a focus on its high performance and elite rowing programs and as of the 2012 Olympic Games, sixty-two rowers from the club had competed at the Olympic Games on ninety-five occasions. It has occupied its current site on Port Jackson's Parramatta River at Abbotsford Point since 1874. Over one hundred club members have achieved national selection. Since Sydney University Boat Club (SUBC) was established in 1860 it has been at the forefront of both domestic and international rowing, contributing a multitude of athletes to state and national teams.
