As a result, the PRS Mark Tremonti MT 15 is a lunchbox-style amp head that is truly equivalent to many larger amps in every way, other than its smaller size and — best of all — lower price. The clean channel is crisp and bold, with lots of headroom, even with the pull-boost engaged. Exclusive deals, delivered straight to your inbox. I was able to dial in a wonderful tone with the onboard EQ. The lead channel is tight and has plenty of gain. The 6L6 tubes and meticulously dialed-in circuit are the key, delivering crisp pick articulation, punchy percussive attack and impressive bass that will tremble your trouser legs, when playing the amp through a large speaker cabinet. It takes pedals very well. The clean channel is also very good and easy to dial in, it definitely has that Mark Tremonti clean sound. The tone suck is horrid even with one pedal. There is plenty of drive, more than I will ever need, but sound is nasally and thin, because there is no bass! I have purchased no less than five tube amp heads over the last year, and as much as I love them, I wouldn't have purchased a single one of them if I would had found this amp first. However, I had one modification done that has makes it even better. Schematics, FAQ's, Customer Support Contact Information and more. I play worship at my church and was looking for something with two channels so I could have a worship tone and something extra if I wanted. Maybe you can run pedals to get a slight dirt blues sound but that tone is not on board already. This thing really blew me away. Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2020. The MT 15 is versatile enough to be the perfect studio workhorse, particularly when paired with the PRS MT 1x12 Closed Back speaker cabinet, but it’s also powerful enough to use on stage with a 2x12 or 4x12 cabinet.
