I've been to this restaurant a couple of times over the last few years and always had a good experience, however this time was not so good. We recently visited Brigade Bar and Kitchen near London Bridge which is a social enterprise, restaurant and charity. The restaurant was preparing for a few quite large parties as we arrived, but staff were friendly and helpful throughout our meal, and the use of the smaller rooms for two of the parties meant we did not feel swamped as a couple. To be fair our waitress was aware of the time gap and would have dealt with it had it been a real issue. Almost everybody who works at Brigade, from the chefs to the servers and the front of house staff are working hard on creating a new and positive life for themselves. It was a perfect amount and left room for dessert . My only downside comment would be on the cost of the wine, although what we had was good it was not worth £36 per bottle.
