They certainly have the best wine list and cellar that you will find. Been to Sails a number of times, slightly disappointed with food this time. We loved it.It is pricey though, but deservedly so. I would have awarded four stars but due to the excessive use of coriander, and the fact that it removed  for me so much choice , I can only offer 3 stars. Lows:- None really except for the overwhelmingly delicious menu. Additionally, they did not respond to any emails sent.Secondly, Sails continues this weird fashion of not allowing BYO wine because they are 'high end'. Sails Noosa, in Noosa Heads, is a restaurant that prides itself on serving contemporary Australian cuisine made with seasonal and local produce in its charming beachside eatery. Strangely though in the states we visited Michelin star restaurants that allowed us to bring in a cheeky bottle of Camus, Alpha etc. The Morton bay bug main meal was divine, along with the golden syrup pudding! Didn't start well when Sails had no record of our Open Table Booking, but managed to find us a table anyway.The much heralded Sandcrab Lasagne was disappointing..if there was any taste of crab it was shrouded in a light tomato sauce. Never had one before so not sure what to compare with but I was really impressed how flavorful it was, had a charred grill taste as well as buttery. ?Tip: Make a booking and must try the Smoked Salmon Butter. And $29 for 3 sea scollops sliced in half to display as 6 on the plate seemed rather miserly..The entree duck on the other hand was plentiful and very tasty.The wait staff and location helped enormously to make up for our disappointment.Their decent coffee and mega size muffins for breakfast the next day also helped.
